Who I am

My name is Jim. I'm an occasional freelance UX/UI designer and front-end developer living in Fishers, Indiana.

By day, you'll find me leading a crack team of Microsoft Engineers at a top-shelf financial company.

By night, you can find me writing code and actively contributing to our beloved design & development community through freelance design and open-source collectives.

Somewhere in between all of that, I'm a husband, father and cyclist who needs to find more time to ride his bike.

What I do

"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. You can change it. You can influence it. You can build your own things that other people can use". -Steve Jobs

One more thing

I find joy in designing and engineering solutions, not only for my clients but also for my favorite open-source collectives. For me, it's a way of giving back to the community that's given so much to me. It's also an avenue to express pure, real, free creativity. It's an outlet for connecting and sharing great ideas as well as collaborating on and improving solutions. Cheers to all the open-sourcers out there.
